2024 China International Furniture Fair Opens, Smart and Healthy Furniture Become the Focus of the Exhibition

On September 15th, the 2024 China International Furniture Fair grandly opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), attracting more than 1,200 enterprises from over 30 countries and regions around the world. With an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters, the scale reached a record high. With the theme of "Smart Life · Healthy Home", this year's fair focused on displaying innovative products such as smart lifting desks, constant temperature mattresses, and antibacterial sofas, becoming the focus of the industry.


At the exhibition site, the "smart home interconnection system" launched by many enterprises attracted crowds of visitors—users can control furniture lighting, temperature adjustment and storage functions simultaneously through voice commands, realizing intelligent linkage of home scenarios. At the same time, furniture products focusing on "health functions" accounted for more than 60%. Among them, sofas using antibacterial fabrics and mattresses that can monitor sleep quality, which meet the current health needs of consumers, saw a year-on-year increase of 35% in contract volume. The exhibition director said that this fair has built a communication and cooperation platform for global furniture enterprises, and also pointed out the "smart + healthy" direction for the future development of the industry.
